About Diya Sarees
A loom-side house for sarees woven in silk, cotton, and gold.
Since the first bolt
Cloth with a lineage
Diya Sarees began as a way to keep a few weaving houses in view: Kanjivaram, Banaras, and the cotton belts whose cloth still carries the hand of the person who made it.
We edit slowly. A saree stays in the house only when the border, the fall, and the drape agree.

The loom
Silk, cotton, and zari bought from the houses that still weave them, not from a warehouse.
The drape
Each saree is checked for hand, border, and fall before it is offered.
The house
A small edit, refreshed through the year, with room to ask how a cloth should be worn.
